    Exceptional

Position of the hotel was great, shopping, night life, on the door step. Entertainment value and quality of food was second to none.

This is a personal comment, I was a little deflated when no one at the time of booking in was Irish. I have no discrimination against the reception staff they were more than helpfull, however there were very few Irish people on reception and some of the foreign staff were difficult to understand.

    Fabulous

Excellent location, easy to find, easy to walk to the tourists sites very presentable, good staff. We did not have any food there, so cannot comment. Drinks prices were the same as any where else (dear), you expect to pay more in a hotel which we thought was very fair of the Arlington to charge the same as any where else exsept Bar Street. Our room was ok plenty of hot water, room cleaned every day and clean towels provided.

We stayed in room 308. We were up at 4 olock in the morning and had a long day, Very tired when we went to bed only to find what seemed like a disco in our room (not good) untill 2.30 ish in the morning. Sunday and Monday was fine because it was only on untill 12, people can except that. We got home on Tuesday and today We found out that the Arlington had taken another reserve fee out of our bank account and now we have to wait 7 days to have it repaid into our account. This has put finaincial strain on our resourses. But saying that when we contacted the Arlington they admitted that a mistake had been made and bent over backwards to help us. The room did look a bit tired, prehaps a paint job might be in order.

Staff very friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble for them, as a solo traveller I was made to feel very welcome.

No comment here because everything was brilliant.

    Fabulous

Very handy to city centre and its transport system. I had business in Parkgate street and Ratmines so it was very central for my needs. The staff were excellent; very friendly and helpfull. The room was quiet and very clean. Parking was a lottery and not guaranteed. Parking was pretty challenging if you arrived late. However the staff were very helpfull and attentive whilst manoeuvering the car.

    Car parking difficulties.

    Exceptional

We stayed here just for the weekend to go to the 02 arena, which the staff were very helpful giving directions, it was a short tram or taxi ride away. Right outside we got on a tour bus which took us around the city, I found this very interesting as you got to see everything in as much time as you needed. The entertainment in the hotel was great we didn't need to go out and about we could could just fall in to bed when we were ready. What I really liked best was that it was situated right by the river Liffey and central for the shops and bars. Overall I had a brilliant stay and could recommend this hotel.

    Superb

We were extremely surprised at the overal high quality of this hotel. The reception staff were very friendly and efficient, our rooms were of a higher quality then we were probably expecting. The evening entertainment was first class, alcohol prices reasonable, all finished with a huge Irish breakfast in the morning overseen by probably one of the friendliest head waitresses I have ever come across. All this and the fantastic location made our stay an absolute pleasure and will most definetely return here.

I was so surprised at how much I liked this hotel that I found myself looking for faults..... I couldn't find any. Amazing.

    Fabulous

*The staff were extremely friendly and helpful *Food was good and the *location is excellent

The hotel is dated and dull - a facelift at the reception area and the bar/dining should seriously be considered. There should be a quieter area reserved for business travellers away from the music and boiler area.

there was nothing to dislike, I read some of the reviews and couldn't believe the bad comments people had written. so therefore the reviews do no justice to this wonderful hotel
